Got Big Files? OneDrive’s Got You Covered.

This week Microsoft announced several new features for OneDrive that we know you’re going to like. They’ll be coming out for One Drive for Business users soon.

They are:

10 GB uploads: Using the desktop apps for Windows, Mac, any of the mobile apps, or the OneDrive website, users can upload files up to 10 GB! (Currently this is only available for standard OneDrive and will be available for business customers soon).

Faster syncing: Microsoft has also increased the number of files that can be downloaded or uploaded at a given time on PCs and Macs—approximately a threefold increase in syncing speed.

Share from Windows Explorer: Windows 7 and 8 users can share links to OneDrive content without visiting the web. How? By right-clicking the item(s) you’d like to share, you’ll see a “Share a OneDrive link” option that you can copy and paste right into an email or IM.

Drag & Drop Folders: Now you can drag folders directly into OneDrive.com from browsers where folder dragging/dropping is supported (i.e. Google Chrome).OneDriveFolderUpload
