Job Position: Sharepoint Developer
Level: Senior level required

Job Description
InfinIT Consulting is seeking SharePoint developers who have experience developing and integrating custom Webparts or web applications for SharePoint. SharePoint developers will be required to work with multiple collaboration and document management suites including SharePoint 2.0.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Gather and develop detailed project requirements
- Analyze current or desired business workflow considerations and recommend recommend best practices for application development
- Design project plans, timelines and overall scope of work
- Design and create SharePoint-based business Webparts in a collaborative environment
- Facilitate the development of custom SharePoint applications by custom coding or incorporating third party products
- Lead auxiliary team members toward successful completion of project
- Set up testing plans and test environments for a phased-development approach
- Produce detailed documentation on procedures, coding and end-user training
- Interact and collaborate with team members and other IT organizations
Desired Skills
The list of desired experience includes:
- 3-5 years of experience working with Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server
- Experience with developing and implementing custom Webparts for SharePoint Services, SharePoint Portal Server and MOSS 2007
- Proficient in ASP.Net Framework, MS SQL Server and Microsoft Visual Studio
- Experience working on enterprise-size SharePoint implementations
- Solid understanding of business workflows and capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and InfoPath 2003/2007
- Knowledge in enterprise content management, business processes and forms, and business intelligence
- Experience with user interface and usability best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills interfacing with customers and within levels of the organization
- Project management experience highly preferred
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and balance a workload of multiple contracts simultaneously
- Certifications a plus
Benefits
Full-time employment is based on thirty one (31) hours or more per week. Benefit coverage, if elected, becomes effective after the introductory period of ninety (90) days after the hire date.
